There is a battle for your joy and true joy is the fruit of seeking and serving God. God created us to enjoy things, He created us to experience pleasure and joy (1 Timothy 6:17, Proverbs 17:22). The enemy, however, has used this Godly desire to deceive us into believing that seeking pleasure in and of itself is what will bring us fulfillment and joy.
