Groups

Because change rarely occurs in isolation, Beltway Groups create a smaller, safer environment for real conversation, real worship, and real ministry.

Join a Five Stones Group

This fall we are kicking off a six-week, church-wide spiritual growth series called “Five Stones.”  Together we will dive into five spiritual giants people often face and need to conquer, including fear, rejection, and addiction. This is something you don’t want to miss or experience alone!

We desire for every person to be a part of a group for this series. If you’re not already in a group, we can help you get connected.  And if you’re interested in hosting a short-term group, grab two or more of your friends, family members, or coworkers and let us know you’re looking to start a group!  We will provide everything you need to facilitate your group for these six weeks.

About Groups

HOW OFTEN DO GROUPS MEET?

Most groups meet weekly.

WHEN & WHERE DO GROUPS MEET?

Every night of the week there is a Beltway Group meeting in the Abilene area, with most favoring Sunday or Wednesday evenings. The majority of groups meet in a constant location (e.g. the home of a group member or at the church), though some prefer to take turns meeting in different members’ homes.

WHAT GOES ON AT A MEETING?

Although every group has its own style and flow, each group spends time developing meaningful relationships, reading the Bible and discussing how it relates to our lives, praying together, and encouraging one another. Outside of specific meeting times, groups often gather to partner with ministries of the church and/or to serve in local outreach.
