Because change rarely occurs in isolation, Beltway Groups create a smaller, safer environment for real conversation, real worship, and real ministry.

Host a Group - Fall 2024

We all want to make great decisions. So why can’t we? What happens between our good intentions and the choices we actually make in the moment?

This fall, Beltway Park is going on an eight-week journey focused on making decisions ahead of time rather than when we are under stress, overwhelmed, or swayed by fear or emotion. We're breaking free from the cycle of poor decision-making and learning how small choices shape the kind of people we become. We will define and put into practice key “pre-decisions” that help define who we are and the direction of our lives. Would you pray about hosting a short-term group for this upcoming series? About Groups

HOW OFTEN DO GROUPS MEET?

Most groups meet weekly.

WHEN & WHERE DO GROUPS MEET?

Every night of the week there is a Beltway Group meeting in the Abilene area, with most favoring Sunday or Wednesday evenings. The majority of groups meet in a constant location (e.g. the home of a group member or at the church), though some prefer to take turns meeting in different members’ homes.

WHAT GOES ON AT A MEETING?

Although every group has its own style and flow, each group spends time developing meaningful relationships, reading the Bible and discussing how it relates to our lives, praying together, and encouraging one another. Outside of specific meeting times, groups often gather to partner with ministries of the church and/or to serve in local outreach.
