  Guard Your Mind 

Text: Philippians 4:4-9 (p.982)

 brings peace of mind. 

  •  brings peace. (v.4)

There is something about  that gets deep within our mind and spirit like nothing else. 

Words have power. Add  to words and the power of the words multiplies. (Prov. 18:21)

There are over 400 references to singing in the Bible, and over  direct commands - not suggestions - commands to sing. 

 lets the word of Christ dwell in our minds. (Col. 3:16) 

  •  brings peace. (vv. 5-7) 

There is not perfect or right way to . There is no formula. Come like a . (Rom. 8:15) 

  •  brings peace. (v.8)

Many of us are struggling with mental health because we're filling our minds with

 is true. But so is the inverse. 

Make sure, in the midst of all that is vying for our focus, that we  our mind with what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable and excellent. 

What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me -  these things, and the God of  will be with you. Philippians 4:9
