Fearless 

As We Face the Future

Text: Psalm 23:3 (p.458)

When it comes to the future, we're , and we know it. 

And that really causes many if not most of us to live in

Fearless comes from , not

The word restore (v. 3) is

A year from now, if Jesus has not returned, this verse will be for that day.

God has already prepared for our future  and mistakes.

The heart of our God is to  and give us a grand future in this life and in the eternity to come.

If God desired only to punish and destroy, He would have never sent Jesus.  God, through His Son Jesus, has taken care of our  - past, present and future.

None of us want to fail.  None of us plan to fall.  But even the healthiest of sheep can become .

But we do not have to fear.  Our failures are not greater than God's patience, love and .

Jesus doesn't give us a map of "the " for the days to come and leave us on our own.

He gives us "a " - a shepherd who not only  us but empowers us, protects us, and is with us.

We can run fearlessly in life not because we know  the future holds but because we run  with Him who holds the future.
