What is your estimated opening date?
We are tentatively planning on Monday, April 29, 2024 - no joke! :)
However, with so many variables in the building and licensing process this date is subject to change. We'll keep you posted!
What are your days and hours of operation?
Monday - Friday 7:30am-6:00pm
What ages are you accepting?
We will be staffing and prepared for preschool-aged children.
Infants must be at least 6 weeks old and have a doctor's release to be enrolled.
5 - year - olds not yet in kindergarten will be our oldest class for preschool.
Limited space is available for school aged children (Kindergarten - 5th grade) for Abilene ISD school holidays if needed.
We hope to have school-age openings for summer months as well.
We are not providing after-school care at this time.
What are your tuition rates?
Our expected 2024 tuition rates are as follows: (subject to change)
0-17 months $195/week (must be 6wks or older & have doctor note)
18 months - 2yrs $185/week (not potty-trained)
2yrs - 5yrs $175/week (potty-trained)
School Age $35/day (kindergarten-5th grade)
Summer $175/week (kindergarten-5th grade)
Are there additional fees?
Our registration fee is $50 per child to enroll. This fee is non-refundable.
Children in our summer pre-k and school age classes will have a $25 field trip fee.
All children remaining enrolled for subsequent years will have an annual supply fee of $50 charged at the beginning for year 2 on their anniversary of enrollment.
Do you provide meals?
Meals are not provided. You will need to feed your child breakfast before dropping off in the morning and provide lunch for them each day.
Morning and afternoon snacks will be given each day.
Is Beltway Kids Academy licensed by the State of Texas?
Yes, we are in the process of becoming licensed and will meet or exceed all requirements of Texas State Minimum Standards.
Do you have cameras?
We have cameras in all classrooms and common areas of BKA with audio/visual recording for security purposes.
In accordance with Texas State Minimum Standards, we have posted notices that cameras are recording audio and video.
Additionally, according to Texas State Minimum Standards, parents are able to request viewing of specific camera footage when needed.
There is not a live-feed camera option for parents throughout the day.
Do you require immunizations? Do you accept immunization exemptions?
We require proof of the State of Texas required immunizations for each child in order to complete enrollment.
We do accept immunization exemption affidavits, as long as they are in compliance with the requirements set by the State of Texas.

Do you offer a sibling discount?
We do not offer a sibling discount at this time.
What curriculum do you use?
We use Experience Early Learning curriculum in each classroom for academic learning and school preparation. Additionally, we use Experience God Curriculum in each classroom as we are a center based on Biblical, Christian principles and values.
Do you accept CCS?
We do accept CCS payments.
