Navigating Technology

Series: Take Back Your Family

Passage: Romans 12:1-2

Previous Page

Navigating technology can feel like a love-hate relationship, offering incredible benefits but also potential for damage and distraction. In this message, we dive into biblical principles and explore how technology is meant to be a servant, not a master, and how the power of Christ allows us to avoid being mastered by anything. This includes reflecting on whether our use of technology looks different from the world and recognizing how easily it can consume our valuable time. The key lies in intentionally examining our lives and using filters, like the principles from Philippians 4, to ensure that our interaction with technology is honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, and excellent. By actively putting technology in its proper place as a tool, we can prevent it from dictating our lives and truly "take back" our time and families.

Technology is a , not a . (1 Corinthians 6:12)

To be a living sacrifice is to hold nothing back. It's a call to

The way we utilize technology should look  than the world around us.

As believers, we are  of  to the world.

Technology masters us whenever we allow it to . (Ephesians 5:15-17)

How we steward our time is a direct act of

We have the  to use technology as the  it was meant to be, not the master the  makes it. (Philippians 4:8-9, Matthew 5:29-30)
