Healthy Hearts

Series: Take Back Your Family

We all know that what we eat affects our physical health, but have you ever considered how what you feed your heart affects your spiritual, emotional, and relational health? In this message, we look deeper at Proverbs 4:23 and the importance of guarding our hearts, because everything we do flows from them. Just like junk food can lead to a sick body, things like comparison, anxiety, bitterness, and lust can lead to a sick heart. If we want to take back our families and experience the kind of abundant life God intends for us, we have to be intentional about what we allow into our hearts. A healthy heart builds a healthy home, and it starts with receiving a new heart from God, feeding it with truth, and surrounding ourselves with accountability. This message is a practical and powerful challenge to assess what’s really going on inside—and to take a step toward healing and wholeness.
