Passage: Ephesians 1:7-14

Previous Page

We discover that true purpose is found by shifting from building our own small kingdoms to participating in God’s grand, eternal story. While many of us feel a sense of emptiness chasing temporary achievements like career or wealth, Ephesians 1:7-14 reveals we were created to be part of God’s ultimate plan to unite all things under the reign of Jesus. Having been redeemed and adopted into His family, we are invited to stop trying to be the main characters of our lives and instead seek first the Kingdom of God. By placing Jesus at the center of our "why," our daily actions gain eternal significance as we join a story that began before the foundation of the world.

We are invited into God's plan for the world because we have been  and

Before God  His plan, he  His grace.

God had a plan and purpose before the foundation of the world was set, and  is  towards Him.

God's eternal purpose includes  like us.

Following Jesus doesn’t always change what we do. It changes what sits at the  of  we do it. (Matthew 6:33)
