Summary

Abilene is approximately 7,060 miles away from Israel on a map. However, the true distance between Abilene and Israel is not measured in miles, but rather in the love and connection that God has for His people. Why has God authored our friendship? The Bible speaks of God's love for the Jewish people and His promise to bring them back to their ancient homeland. (Jeremiah 31:3,5) "The LORD has appeared to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel!" The New Testament is a Jewish story of the Messiah foretold by the prophets and 4000 years later God is still involved with the Jewish people. Like Eitan Shishkoff, God has been calling modern day Jews back to Israel to fulfill His word. Jeremiah 29:14 says "I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD." Why does this matter? Jesus tells his disciples in Matthew 9:37-38 “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray for the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” We are pioneering together, breaking new ground by equipping the youth of Israel for final harvest leading to Yeshua’s return! Psalm 24:6-7 "...this is the generation of Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, who seek His face. Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in."
