Protect What is Vital 

Text: Ephesians 6:10-14 (979) 

Jesus cares how we . It matters to Jesus if we . (Jn. 8:11) 

Because of the intensity of His  and His desire for those He loves to have abundant life, Jesus  with an equal passion everything that steals, kills and destroys. (Jn. 10:10) 

To be righteous is to be like God in the way we live our lives. It is to choose to live by  revealed to us by God. 

When we embrace Jesus as our Lord and Savior, spiritually speaking, we are . (2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Cor. 1:18) 

We are a . We have everything of Jesus in us. But we must grow-up. We need to mature. 

We can be in Jesus and remain spiritual . And the problem with this?  are very vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy. (Heb. 5:12-14) 

Maturity comes as we invest  to learn the truth of God. 

Maturity comes as we seek to live out this truth in our

 to God's truth best protects all that is vital. 

When we don't seek to  - such as not forgiving - we open ourselves up to the enemy to be tortured. (Mt. 18:34-35) 

 leaves us unequipped. 

None of us have arrived. We all . But we don't pretend this isn't something to be dealt with. (1 Jn. 1:8) 

We seek to grow in . (1 Jn. 1:9)
