It seems so backwards and unnatural, but it is God’s design: we gain when we give. Jesus tells us that true, meaningful life comes when we serve and love others first. When we seek to bless to those around us, not only do we give hope and life to them - that they might see Jesus – but hope and life increase in us as well.
