Text: Ephesians 6:16-17 (979) 

Is something so seemingly innocuous as  a scheme of the enemy to destroy? 

Most of our battle against the enemy is not in the circumstances we face. The battle is in the . (2 Cor. 10:3-5) 

The   of God-focus empowers victory. 

At risk of his life, Daniel refused to quit the   that enabled him to focus on God. 

He knew that if he lost focus on God, he would  and  in this godless land. (Dan. 6:10) 

Is it any wonder that one of the  to do in our Christian journey is to stay focused on God? 

The enemy knows without focus we will be  to join God in bringing His life to our families, His kingdom to our friends, His will to those in our world. 

He knows that if he can create distraction from God that we become  to his attacks. 

You keep him in  whose mind is stayed (focused) on you, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3
