Fight for the Blessing

Text: Genesis 32:22-32 (p. 27) 

Jesus longs for us to  so He can bless us. 

Blessing without  often brings 

Jesus uses our money as a training ground - an opportunity for us to  - so He can bless us with  

(Lk. 16:10-11) 

The way we wrestle for the blessings of God is by living an  

We long for God to bless us that our lives be full of the fruit of God's spirit, lives that , even when the world around us is in drought. (Ps. 1:3) 

The person who is blessed in this way delights in  the ways of God and  in the ways of God. (Ps. 1:1-2)

Don't be deceived. God's greatest blessings don't always lead to immediate ease,  or convenience. 

In ancient terms, seeing and knowing one's  was a statement of closeness and intimacy. (Num. 6:22-27; Ex. 33:11)

What kind of privilege would it be to  - not in our mind alone, but increasingly deep within our hearts? 

What kind of blessing would it be to have an  relationship with Him who has beginning or end, He Who is without limit?

Is it a blessing we're willing to
