Like a Good Neighbor

Love Requires Action

Text: Matthew 5:14-16

We know the power and importance of physical light in our lives, but it we're not careful, we can be relatively  about the power and  of spiritual light. (Psalm 82:5) 

We don't have to let our neighbors and the world around us stay in darkness...we can  

This light that Jesus says we have is not something that is  by  (John 8:12)

Truly  into a spiritually desolate place isn't something that we, under our own strength or power, can do. 

Those who follow Jesus are  from the darkness and  the light of life. (Matthew 22:37-40) 

We have a role to play. Receive the light of life by loving God with all that we are, and  the  around us by loving our neighbor as ourself. 

Jesus says loving the people around us with our  is what illuminates a dark world.
