Being raised in the church, as soon as Brenda had the choice to not go, she stopped. Shortly after, she was introduced to alcohol and that consumption took over her life for 40 years. This consumption eventually landed her in prison, three times. While sitting in solitary confinement with only a Bible, Brenda decided to read it, and while in prison she found freedom! After incarceration, she found a church home, freedom classes, and a life group. She now leads a recovery group and speaks to others in prison about how the Lord has changed her life!
