I graduated from Hardin Simmons in May, 2021, and was hired full-time to Beltway in May, 2024. I was working in the Kids / Summer Club off and on as staff since I was 15. It was definitely perfect timing when I got hired on in my life and yet another testimony that shows the grace the Father has for us.
As a Director, I help to oversee all staff, supers, and children with Mrs. Taryn at Kids/ Summer Club and have the opportunity to try to minister by example at every level. From teaching responsibility, integrity, and grace for our staff who may be starting out with their first job, to overall presenting the gospel to children through the Word and through character, who may otherwise not have this anywhere else in their life. The privilege to have a job where I get no bad days and get to be intentional with others is one of the biggest blessings I could ever receive.
I married my wife, Jessica, in May, 2022, and love her more than I did yesterday. We’ve got some big ole’ dogs and a floor that needs constant cleaning because of them. I get to be a part of the Beltway Students Ministry when they’ll have me and am in a life group with a community that is slowly but surely trying to grow in wisdom. You can find me either struggling to breathe in the gym or struggling to breathe while eating too much food and not attempting to change that.
Humbled and honored to serve these kids and families.
