I was born and raised in Arlington, Tx and came to Abilene in 2010 to play baseball at HSU. As I look back on the past 13 years in Abilene, I realize there are about 5 total choices I’ve made in my life that have led to a profound breakthrough and seeing freedom in my life. The first was accepting Jesus as my Lord and then my savior, and the last was making a habit and putting myself in position to say yes to Jesus over and over. When I reflect on those choices, and the other ones in between, each one built on top of the other and I’ve realized how important choice is to our life.
I have been married to my wife, Jordan, since October of 2014, and we have two sweet girls: Navy who was born in 2019 and Henley who was born in 2022. We love to have fun! Whether it’s playing games or hanging out, we enjoy environments where people can have fun. Together, we love walking alongside people in their freedom and faith journey and creating a peaceful space for them to grow. Our favorite thing to see is not just becoming a believer but truly seeing people walk in the authority and truth of their identity and who they are through Jesus.
Before coming on staff at Beltway, I had the luxury to practice ministry in my past career and now love helping train and equip future leaders to be confident and encouraged to minister in whatever job or experience they are in, too.
In my free time, I love being with my family! Hobby wise, I enjoy creating and designing furniture, and doing pretty much anything DIY inside and outside the house. I’m active and really enjoy working out, traveling, coffee, and being outdoors.
