What a joy it is to serve on staff at my church! I grew up in Abilene and attended church from the time I was little. My mom and my grandfather were both on staff at the church that I grew up in. In fact, my grandfather was the business administrator, so I am following in his footsteps, isn’t God cool! In 2010, I joined Beltway as a member and my life has been dramatically transformed since then. God has taken me on an incredible journey of healing and freedom that I desire for others to experience!
After graduating from Texas A&M, I spent the first 20 years of my career working in accounting/finance in the corporate world. In 2020 I felt God calling me to leave the corporate world and to use my finance degree in ministry. In February of 2022 I came on staff at Beltway. It has been one of the sweetest journeys with the Lord. One of my favorite verses is Ephesians 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us”. I would say this verse sums up my experience here at Beltway.
Spending most of my previous career focused on accounting and finance, it has been fun to also get to be involved with Human Resources, Facilities and IT here at Beltway. What I most enjoy about my role as Director of Business Administration is the people I get to work alongside! They bring me so much joy! I get to work with a very gifted team that does a lot of the behind the scenes work that helps set the atmosphere for all the ministry that happens here at Beltway!
My husband Justin and I have been married since 2002 and have 3 children who are our greatest joys! When I’m not at work, you can most often find me at one of our 3 children’s sporting events cheering them on! We also love to host people in our home whether that is our life group, family, friends or neighbors. Some of my favorite ways to connect with Jesus are through dance, bible study and sitting by the ocean!
