Missions & Outreach Fundraising Director
Although I’m not a native Texan, my parents brought me here as quick as they could when my dad retired from the Air Force in the early 90’s. I grew up just outside Abilene in the community of Eula and graduated from Hardin-Simmons University. My family has always attended church regularly and I started a personal relationship with Jesus just before my 13th birthday.
After graduation, I spent a few years working at a local radio station. In the fall of 2005, I found myself in a temporary position as the receptionist at Beltway Park, which was definitely a gift from the Lord in a season of great uncertainty. I feel at home here, both as a member of the congregation and our church staff.
I married Jamin in 2012 and we have two small dogs, Cookie and Buddy. We love watching sports together, especially in person. We are honored to serve Beltway Park together as pre-martial coaches and greeters at the North Campus. I enjoy reading classic fiction, watching movies, and walking my dogs. I can be convinced to help with almost anything if food is offered, especially if that includes pie, French fries, or Dr. Pepper.
The scriptures I cling to during this season of my life are Psalm 27:13-14 and Isaiah 26:3.
