Jessica Hallgren
Women's Groups Pastor
I was born in Grand Junction, CO, and grew up in a loving small-town community in Haskell, TX. After high school, I returned to Grand Junction to attend Mesa State College and pursued a career in Real Estate. My journey then took me to Denver, CO, where I advanced in Corporate America, eventually becoming a Vice President for a Fortune 500 Company. It was in Denver that I met my husband, Franz Hallgren, and we were married in 2003.
After being blessed with two beautiful daughters, Ruby and Layla, I decided to leave my 14-year career to become a stay-at-home mom. In 2012, Franz and I moved to Haskell, TX, to be closer to my family. In 2013, we joined Beltway’s re|engage program, which became a pivotal part of our faith journey. Beltway offered us growth, learning, and opportunities to lead in various ministries as Jesus guided our next steps.
I began working at Beltway in the Child Development Center in August 2014, transitioned to Student Ministry, and in September 2018, I became the Women’s Groups Pastor. In my current role, I oversee all aspects of Women’s Ministry at Beltway, ensuring that everything leads back to a group. I find joy in connecting women through Bible Studies, Life Groups, Gather Groups, Prayer Huddles, and events.
I have a heart of optimism and faith, always looking for the gold in people and their situations. I firmly believe that no situation is too big or too far gone because of the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. It is my passion to come alongside people, pray with them, and encourage them to find healing and wholeness in the name of Jesus. I love identifying gifts and talents in others and encouraging them to serve in those areas.
I am honored and blessed to serve at Beltway and cherish being part of a church family that welcomes everyone with open arms. Beltway’s warm and welcoming environment offers various ministries to bind up the broken-hearted, teach true freedom, and strengthen even the healthiest of believers. I truly believe there is something for everyone at Beltway!
