Barbara Prim
Administrative Assistant - South Campus Children's Ministry
Most of my life I have been involved in ministry of some kind: worship teams, adult, youth and children’s choirs, youth co-director, early childhood teacher, youth bell choir director, youth work teams, elementary co-director, and many more! Being part of Beltway Kids was a great place to land. I would not want to be anywhere else.
I met my husband in a ballroom dance class at Mesa College in San Diego, CA, and we were married two years later. We and our two children moved to Abilene in the spring of 1999. Our first Sunday at Beltway was Easter of that year, and it was in the Wylie High School Cafetorium. We both began volunteering in the Elementary department a few months later, became members in 2000, and then I was hired in 2001 to help the pastors and directors in Beltway Kids.
I love being a Beltway Kids Admin for both North and South Campuses. Our kids team is the best! I truly believe that all of our children need to know all that we know now of our Lord. Our ceiling should be their floor. Children’s Ministry is the best place to be.
