The Real Battle 

Text: 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (p.969) 

When we ask the question, "What was ," even about a mistake, we're making an assumption. 

We assume that  thinking leads to  choices. 

But would that not mean the inverse is true as well, that  thinking enables  choices? 

Our mind is

Human advancement has not resolved the issues of our world. Why? We are a world

The weapons God has for us are powerful to tear down every destructive argument, to destroy every damaging opinion, to annihilate every thought that is contrary to  for our lives. 

But we must wield the weapons. We can no longer be . We must fight. (1 Pet. 5:8)

Satan's primary weapon is to . (Jn. 8:44) 

Don't minimize the power of a .  are at the heart - the very foundation - of all that is destructive. 

God want us to live more and more in what is good, pleasing and perfect. And that happens as we  our minds. (Rm. 12:2)

If we want strength of heart and mind, then we must not only fight, but we must fight with the  God gives to us. 

We begin the battle of our mind by  about our thoughts. 

The number of thoughts I have - can have - will have - is  to me. But not to God. 

His spirit, if we ask, will begin to highlight the  in our lives that are keeping us from the life that Jesus wants us to have.
