Really a Sin?

Really a Sin?

January 24, 2016 | David McQueen

Food is meant as fuel for our bodies not satisfaction for our souls. Because of sin, food is often consumed in response to needs and appetites that have little or nothing to do with physical hunger. In other words, our belly can become a god where we find unhealthy and ungodly satisfaction in what we eat. God desires that we find our satisfaction and joy in Him and that we fully understand how valuable we are to Him. Caring for our bodies glorifies God and enables us to more fully accomplish His plan for our lives.
