Life

The event that created the Easter holiday doesn't allow us to be .

It demands we are either  or .

What if heaven has a debt clock for each of us - not a fiscal debt, but a ? (Mt. 6:12)

When I imagine my counter in heaven, my spiritual debt, I feel the same exact same word as when I watch the National Debt Clock. . (Rm. 7:19-21)

 in the Scripture is the price for our spiritual debt. (Rm. 7:24)

Death as in punishment, death as in judgment, death as in .

It's not just those who do  that must face their spiritual debt. (2 Cor. 5:10)

The algebra of heaven reads something like this: heaven is a  place for  people, which leaves us in a  mess. According to heaven's debt clock we owe more than we could ever repay.

If we don't really have a spiritual debt that has to be paid, Jesus is a  and His death is the suicidal act of a mere man with mental instabilities. (Jn. 19:30)

Why would we celebrate an empty tomb if physical death didn't mean our spiritual death, an  attempting to pay a debt we can never pay?

Jesus said what we're looking for in life - what we really need - He joyfully and gladly  for us. (Jn. 14:6; Mt. 16:24-25; Jn. 10:10)

To receive what we really need, we have to say yes to be His follower. That's what it means to be "."
