Partner with the rest of our church during We Love Our City: Halloween, as we seek to BLESS our city with the message of Jesus. Gather with your group and find an opportunity that will bless a neighbor in a tangible way.
Go with your Group or your Family
- Create and register your group then select a home of a group member in a highly trick or treated area.
- Invite those you meet along the way to our church services. Each invite has a QR Code to register for a chance to have your rent for a month paid, a grocery card, or gas card.
- THREE winners will be announced every Sunday during the month of November.
- Make it fun! Cookout, pass out candy, and enjoy community.
- Invites and We Love Our City shirts and yard signs will be available for pick up in the foyers of each campus on October 16/19 & 23/26 during weekend services.
Outreach Ideas
Fun Activities
- Gift bags for kids (with invite card inside)
- Yard games: cornhole, spikeball, bocce, pickleball
- Festival games: ring toss, sack races, cup stacking
- Face painting or balloon animals
- Bounce house or inflatable slide
- Craft kits for kids to take home
- Fun family photo booth (with a fall background)
- Music, lights, and a pop-up canopy
- Have the big game on tv
For the Parents
Don't hesitate to have some other offerings besides candy:
- Hot chocolate, coffee, or cider
- Gatorade, Sodas, or bottled water
- Hot dogs and hamburgers
- Fall Snacks: cider, pie, popcorn
Bonus: Friday Night Lights
With Halloween falling on a Friday, many in our community will be gathered under the lights—cheering for their hometown team. This is an incredible opportunity to go where people already are and bring light there too. Consider tailgating with your group, handing out the Halloween cards, providing snacks or drinks to fans.
