Text: Philippians 4:4-9 (p.982)
Worry thinks of myself and of God.
The answer to worry isn’t .
The invitation of Jesus isn’t to “let go and let God.” The invitation is to join Him in what He is doing, to with Jesus. (Mt. 11:28-30)
We need to hear, receive, and learn what God has and then seek to put those things into .
And as we these things, as we live by them, “the God of peace is with us.”
Which is why we don’t have to be anxious. God calls us to be responsible but not responsible.
When we are living in worry, then what we are tending to believe is that life is about me and the of life are up to me.
Worry tends to begin to creep in when I put myself in the role of God and I take on that are His alone to take. (1 Cor. 3:6-9))
Worry lessens, anxiety leaves, as I about God and myself.
