Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8

The problem is that many followers of Jesus are living our lives as if Satan is not real, living as if we have .

We must be a people aware of the of the devil.

The enemy twists truths, us into believing that certain things that God created for our good will give us what God alone will give us. (2 Cor. 2:11; Jn. 8:44)

What the enemy does is to take this God-given desire to succeed and twists it, saying success is equivalent to , to accomplishing more and more.

And that is where we invest our . When we see success this way, then getting things done and getting them done right becomes more important than almost anything or anyone else.

Success is knowing and doing .

Jesus said, “My food is to do the of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.” John 4:34

Am I striving to know His will through the Word, through His still, small voice leading me, and am I to do what He desires?
