This account is about far more than David and Goliath. This is vs. . (1 Sam. 17:36-37,45-47)

David saw what others didn’t see and to focus on what others focused on.

superseded everything else. David wanted to know God. David redeemed his time to focus on the reality of God. (Ps. 27:4)

He spent time meditating on the reality of God – .

God designed us to walk through life with him, on Him, following Him, relying on His strength – knowing deep within what David knew.

The is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1
