In the midst of , it’s easy to forget the faithfulness of God.
Fairness doesn’t happen in this life; happens in this life. (Jn. 16:33; Heb. 5:8; Jam.1:2-4)
God is present with us and in the midst of the struggles and difficulties even when they’re not turning out the way we want when we want. (Rm. 8:28)
When God’s not doing what I want Him to do when I want Him to do it, the temptation is to Him at some level, to be to Him at some level.
Remembering God’s faithfulness in the past imparts for now and the future.
To face the difficulties of now and the uncertainties of tomorrow with courage, we must regularly God’s faithfulness in the past. (Rev. 12:11)
Sometimes our next steps with Jesus – often those steps – stretch and us.
The temptation is to forget, or at least , how we got where we are, and we try to face the days to come on our own.
And when we fall prey to , fear begins to replace courage, cowardice becomes our norm instead of valor.
