Walk to Bethlehem

What an honor and a joy it is to be serving Beltway Park as our Missions & Outreach Pastor.  Having served previously as a Children’s Pastor in Lubbock, God led us in 2003 to move to Abilene and to serve this growing Body of Christ called Beltway Park and I can assure you it’s been a tremendous blessing to be a part of this church family.

In 1998, my wife and I participated in a Missions trip to Argentina.  That began a stirring in me for the nations.  In 2000, I had the priviledge of leading a trip to Ireland and that solidified part of my calling to the nations. Helping others sow into the nations and encouraging our ministry partners, local and international is a passion of mine and I’m grateful that gets to be fulfilled right here in this wonderful church body!

I grew up in the church and became a Believer at a young age.  I’ve seen the Lord use every season of my life for His glory.  God has been good to me! Part of that goodness in my life is my wife, Bobbie.  She has always been my biggest cheerleader and encourager!  Our years together have given us four amazing kids. Geoffrey (married to Sarah), Sarah, Emily (married to Tyler) and Landon (married to Ana).  We are also Pops and Lolly to two beautiful granddaughters, Berkley and Ellie Kate.

About a year after our family moved to Abilene, a friend of mine called and said, “Now that the honeymoon is over, how is it there?” Many years later, I can answer the same as I did the day he called me. I’m still on my honeymoon!  I love Beltway Park and this amazing group of friends who have become family. I'm excited to see where God takes us next!

I serve as Beltway’s Staff Culture Pastor, helping ensure that the way we lead, serve, and care for one another reflects who we are as the Body of Christ. My heart is to strengthen our team culture so that our staff are cared for, developed, and equipped—spiritually, personally, and professionally. I believe there is nothing better than serving the Lord and His Church with people you love, and I care deeply about those who have given their livelihoods to Christ’s mission. My goal is to empower and support healthy leaders who foster healthy teams and model what it means to be the Body of Christ. I am also blessed to oversee our internship program, helping prepare young leaders called into vocational ministry.

I began attending Beltway in 2014 as a freshman at ACU after a pastor helping with move-in invited me to church, and I’ve been part of the Beltway family ever since. While in college, I served on the North Campus launch team in 2015, interned for a year, and joined the staff in 2018.

From 2018–2025, I served as Associate Missions and Outreach Pastor, helping lead mission trips and events like Night to Shine, We Love Our City, and Walk to Bethlehem. In that season, I witnessed God use the people of Beltway Park to make an extraordinary impact across the Big Country and around the world.

Victoria and I met at Abilene Christian and were married in 2020. We welcomed our first daughter, Caroline, in 2023 and our second daughter, Anna, in 2026. In addition to spending time with my girls, I love cooking, football season, and reading.

I have seen God’s faithfulness in and through Beltway time and time again, and I am expectant for the future He holds for us.
