Not realizing the void Ladean felt in her life was intended for Jesus to fill, she filled it with bad relationships and substances. After being invited to a Bible study, she actively started to trust and believe God to take care of something she couldn't do for herself. While desiring a deeper relationship with God, she felt she could never be reconciled to Him due to her past sin. God slowly revealed the things she was placing before Him and as she surrendered, she found her true identity in God.
