Passage: Luke 15:1-32

Rest comes when we are yoked with Jesus (Matthew 11:28-29). Like the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32, when we come to our Heavenly Father in humility and repentance, He makes us a part of His family and gives our lives meaning and significance. He spiritually clothes us with a robe and puts a ring on our finger, inviting us to a life that matters. As we live out our lives yoked with Jesus – working with Him in making an eternal difference in the lives of people – we experience rest and can live in a posture of peace without anxiousness.
