As a follower of Jesus, I have been given mercy instead of judgment. Because I have been shown mercy, I must extend that mercy to others. In every circumstance, we must ask for God’s heart to love people like He does. God calls us to look past the externals, the things that our eyes see, and truly remember that we are all made in His image. We must allow room for the Holy Spirit to work in us and through us; to deal with any sin that is in our lives. We must ask for God’s kingdom to come, and His will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
