Anger and Sin

Series: All The Feels

Anger and Sin

October 07, 2018 | David McQueen

Passage: Ephesians 4:26-31

Anger isn’t to be totally avoided but focused rightly. We are completely surrounded by anger in our society today. We see it in the news, on our streets, in the faces of people we are driving next to, and probably, if we’re being honest, most often we feel it in ourselves. We’ve somewhat been groomed to assume that being angry is sinful, but as it turns out, scripture reveals to us that righteous anger is not sinful, but a tool used by God to spur us on to stand in the gap for things of the Kingdom, helping drive us into a purposeful life of bringing righteousness and justice into the world.
