Scripture implores us to "Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the enemy's schemes." Why would God tell us to do that if we did not have to fight in life? Through Jesus we can stand strong and secure, in conquest over our enemy, but this will not happen in passivity! We cannot be naive about the schemes of the enemy, especially in those places where he stands as an accuser in our lives. It is time to stand against what the accuser says about us by standing in the absolute sufficiency of what Jesus did and says about us.
